The Drawing Room is pleased to present Birds of North America, an exhibition of miniature mixed-media drawings by Philadelphia artist Susan Hagen.
This series of miniature mixed-media drawings of North American birds includes birds that were encountered first-hand by Susan while walking through wetlands, forests, and urban landscapes. Many were spotted in and around Philadelphia during the COVID-19 pandemic of 2020 and 2021.
As always, The Drawing Room invited members of the community to respond to the featured artist’s work through drawing. Their drawings will also be on view in the new on-site space, Top Shelf.
The opening will be a masked event and we will require proof of vaccination at the door for entry. We’re complying with CDC guidelines and will make no exception.
